Robert John Evans (1924 2005), also more familiarly known as Bobzo, passed away in the company of his family and close friends. He will be fondly remembered as a father, grandfather and great grandfather, as an artist, businessman, world traveler, a man with a passion for sailing and some skill on the slopes, a person of great humor and always, always as a man who loved the ladies. So much so, that he gave his exwife, the mother of his children, away at her weddinga fond memory for all in the family. Bob is survived by his four children (sons John and Darsie, and daughters Betsy and Joanie) and their spouses, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild (with another arriving shortly).
A man who said, Its not the destination, its the journey, Bob had the kind of life we should all aspire to live. Game for anything, he ventured into every new experience with curiosity and a sense of adventure. Equally capable of great compassion and holding steadfast to his principles, he was the classic family patriarch. An intellect and an artist, he brought a depth and richness to this world that will be dearly missed.
Please take the time to celebrate his life by visiting his Travel Art Journals. Bob's family will continue to add more of his adventures to this web site. Please make donations to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation Or Hospice. |
